1. Introduction
Welcome to Franken-Boy Customs (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We specialize in refurbishing and customizing Game Boy consoles. By purchasing from us, you (“customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Products
All consoles sold are original Game Boys that have been refurbished and may include custom modifications (e.g., shell replacements, screen upgrades, cosmetic changes).
Each unit is tested for full functionality before shipment.
Because these are vintage electronics, slight cosmetic imperfections may occur.
3. Warranty
Franken-Boy Customs provides a 90-day limited warranty from the date of delivery.
The warranty covers:
Hardware malfunctions
Screen/display issues not caused by physical damage
Defective internal components (motherboard, sound, buttons, etc.)
The warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, drops, water exposure, or unauthorized modifications
Normal wear and tear (scratches, scuffs, discoloration, battery life, etc.)
Issues arising from third-party accessories or cartridges
Warranty Process:
Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to us for warranty evaluation and repair.
If the claim is approved, we will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement unit back to the customer.
We will repair or replace the unit at our discretion. If repair/replacement is not possible, we may issue a refund.

4. Returns & Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are final except in cases covered by our warranty.
If your unit arrives damaged or non-functional, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery to arrange a replacement or repair.
5. Shipping
Franken-Boy Customs ships within the United States only.
All shipments include tracking and insurance for your protection.
Once an order has shipped, we are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by the shipping carrier. If such issues occur, please contact us to initiate claim details if insurance was added.
6. Privacy Policy
We collect personal information (such as name, shipping address, email, and payment details) solely for the purpose of processing and delivering your order.
We will never sell or share your information with third parties, except as required to complete your order (e.g., payment processors, shipping carriers).
By placing an order, you consent to our collection and use of your information for these purposes.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
Franken-Boy Customs is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost data, cartridges, or accessories).
8. Disclaimer
Franken-Boy Customs is an independent business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United States of America. By purchasing from us, you agree that:
Any dispute or claim relating to your purchase or these Terms & Conditions will be resolved under U.S. federal law and applicable state laws.
Any legal proceedings must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit against Franken-Boy Customs; disputes must be handled individually.
10. Updates to Terms
Franken-Boy Customs reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and apply to all future sales.
